I am pleased to announce that 3 of my metal/mixed media jewelry pieces were juried into the 2023 TMA Contemporary Show in Appleton, Wisconsin. TMA Contemporary is the Trout Museum of Art’s annual juried exhibition showcasing Wisconsin’s top visual artists. Works exemplify the cutting-edge art being created by artists across the state today. Jurors reviewed more than 1200 artwork submission by 416 artists. 106 artists were accepted. The show will be on view from June 10 - August 13, 2023. More information here.

A selection of paintings are on display and for sale at Swoon on West Vliet Street in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Milwaukee. These paintings were created en plein air or in the studio or a combination of both painting methods. They were completed between 2017 and 2019 and highlights scenes from Washington Heights, namely the Washington Park Bandshell, and the city of Milwaukee. Prints are for sale too!     This drawing, Eight, won an Honorable Mention in the 40th Annual SECURA Fine Arts Exhibition at the Trout Museum of Art in Appleton, WI. This juried show features 90 Wisconsin artists. You are a Circle graphite, gouache, embroidery on paper. Images are of my Mother, Dorie Brennan, from old slides my Dad took. My Mom passed away on March 6, 2019. I currently have two pieces on display at the Richeson Gallery in Kimberly, WI for the Wisconsin Visual Artists Small Works Juried Show.  I am pleased to announce that the two paintings below are hanging at the RedLine Gallery in Milwaukee for the WVA's Member Show - A New Day. These paintings were done from photographs taken about 35 minutes apart from each last July 2018 after a downpour. I was on the southern most point of E Erie Street, along the Hank Aaron State Trail looking north, just west of the Summerfest Grounds. I completed these paintings the following September/October from those photographs. They are 20" x 20" on canvas. The reception for this show at RedLine, which features over 170 pieces of artwork from 91 members will be on Friday April 26, 2019. https://www.redlinemilwaukee.com/current I'll have a booth at the West Vliet Street Fall Festival with original landscapes, cityscapes and small still lives.
